If the latest reports are true about Dodgers’ outfielder Yasiel Puig. The roars regarding the Cuban’s future will only grow louder.
The 24-year-old will be investigated by the commissioner’s office under Major League Baseball’s new domestic violence policy following a TMZ report detailing how Puig shoved his sister and a “massive brawl” broke out where the Cuban was left with a “swollen left eye.”
The incident took place at club “Blue Martini.”
Renato Bermudez of ESPN Deportes first reported the story. Bermudez also reported their was //platform.twitter.com/widgets.js“>video evidence of the alleged altercation.
All signs point to Puig being involved in a scuffle. So far, the Dodgers’ have been quite about the whole thing, but if this turns into a distraction in the off-season expect Andrew Friedman to call Puig up to his office to have a “talk.”
Puig didn’t have an exciting year, and was limited during the season due to injury. Then Scott Van Slyke dad, Andy, said some eye-raising statements during a radio interview.
This should be very interesting how this plays out.
